For some pups, the excitement begins the moment the leash appears. Tails wag, noses start working, and itās time to head out for a sniff-filled stroll around the neighborhood. Along the way we might investigate suspicious leaf piles, check the latest āneighborhood newsā left behind by other dogs, or simply enjoy the fresh air together.
After the walk, the adventure might continue with a backyard game, a little enrichment puzzle, or a treat hunt that gets those clever dog brains working. Some pups prefer a game of fetch, while others enjoy exploring their favorite spots and soaking up the sunshine.
And for our sweet senior dogs, adventures simply move at a gentler pace. Maybe itās a slow stroll to enjoy the smells, a cozy yard wander, a bit of enrichment, or some quiet companionship and belly rubs. Adventure doesnāt always mean runningāit sometimes means taking the time to enjoy the moment.
Before wrapping up the visit, we make sure everything is just rightāfresh water, meals if needed, medications when required, and of course plenty of affection and praise for a job well done.
By the time the visit ends, most dogs are happily satisfied and ready for a well-earned napā¦ until their humans return home.
