At Playtime Adventures, I don’t just stop by, check a box, and leave. I truly engage with the animals in my care. That means getting on the floor with them, playing, exploring, and interacting in ways that keep them mentally and physically stimulated.
For some pets, that looks like pure fun—games, sniff adventures, enrichment puzzles, and creative activities designed around their breed instincts.
For others, it looks very different.
Some pets are shy. Some are anxious. Some won’t eat when their people are away. Some need medication or careful monitoring.
Those animals need patience, intuition, and someone willing to meet them where they are.
I take my time with shy dogs and cats so they can build trust at their own pace. I use creative techniques to help pets who struggle to eat while their owners are away. And because I pay close attention to changes in behavior and health, I’ve helped clients catch things early—from UTIs and bladder stones to eye infections.
But what truly sets Playtime Adventures apart is the way I show up for people during real life.
I’ve cared for pets while clients recover from surgery, work long hours in demanding professions, welcome new babies, navigate divorce, celebrate graduations, and grieve the loss of loved ones.
I’ve stepped in during emergencies and difficult seasons when families needed someone dependable.
I’ve even helped clients navigate difficult situations with their pets—working through challenges so they could keep and continue loving the animal in their home rather than feeling like they had no options.
Sometimes my job is walking a dog.
Sometimes it’s making sure a nervous cat feels safe.
Sometimes it’s helping a pet eat dinner so their owner can relax while they’re away.
And sometimes it’s simply being a steady, trusted presence when life gets overwhelming.
