Playtime Adventures LLC Cancellation Policy

At Playtime Adventures LLC, we understand that life happens—plans change, emergencies arise, and sometimes you just need to reschedule. While we strive to be as flexible as possible, we also need to ensure fairness for both our clients and our business. When you book with us, we reserve that time specifically for you, often turning away other clients. Because of this, we have the following cancellation policy in place.

*We do not provide refunds. Our policy is credit based.

*Please note we accommodate pets with medical disadvantages. Playtime Adventures LLC will be more than happy to discuss accommodations.

Same-Day Cancellations (After 7 PM the Night Before, but before 8 am of the Scheduled Service)

One-Time Grace Period: Your first same-day cancellation comes with no penalty. The visit will be transferred as a credit to your account, which can be used within 3 months of the canceled service.

Subsequent Same-Day Cancellations: After your one-time grace period, a $10 inconvenience fee will be charged for any future same-day cancellations. Additionally, the canceled visit will not be credited—Playtime Adventures LLC will retain the payment.

**If you cancel after 8 am on the same day of the booked service, it is considered a last minute cancellation and as such you will incur a $15 inconvenience fee and Playtime Adventures LLC will retain the payment. No grace period applies in these circumstances.

48-Hour Cancellation Policy (Before 7 PM the Night Before a Scheduled Service)

One-Time Grace Period: Your first cancellation within 48 hours comes with no penalty. The visit will be transferred as a credit to your account, which must be used within 6 months of the canceled service.

Subsequent 48-Hour Cancellations: After your grace period, a $5 inconvenience fee will be charged for any future cancellations within 48 hours. The canceled visit will still be credited, but the credit must be used within 6 months of the original service date.

*Important Note: If you have canceled twice in a month within 48 hours, but have not requested a same-day cancellation within 30 days of the monthly renewal starting date, you will not incur a penalty fee for that second 48-hour cancellation.

Monthly Renewal of Cancellation Grace Period

We recognize that unexpected situations arise—people get sick, plans shift, and not everything can be controlled. That’s why, every 30 days (starting from your first date of service with Playtime Adventures LLC), your cancellation grace period renews.

You can cancel up to twice within 48 hours per month (30 days) without an inconvenience fee OR one same day cancellation (after 7 pm the night before, but cancelled before 8 am on the same day of the booked service) and within 48 hours (before 7pm the night before your booked service) without an inconvenience fee.

Any additional cancellations within that time frame will be subject to inconvenience fees, payment retainment, and credit restrictions.

Cancellations Made More Than 48 Hours in Advance

If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled visit:

No inconvenience fee will be charged.

The visit will be credited to your account and can be used within 12 months from the cancellation date.

Credit Usage Policy

While we offer credits for canceled visits, please note:

Credits cannot be applied to pre-existing bookings (e.g., if you have a recurring schedule of three visits per week, you cannot replace one of those visits with a credit).

Credits cannot be applied to create a pack (e.g. you cannot use credits due to cancellations to create 12 visits to receive a discount).

Credits must be used in addition to your regular visits (e.g., if you typically book three visits per week, you may use a credit to add a fourth visit during a future week).

Credits are perfect for extra visits when needed, such as covering pet care during a vacation or adding an additional walk or drop-in visit.

Credit Expiration & No Refund Policy

All credits must be used within the designated time frame (3, 6, or 12 months depending on the type of cancellation). If credits are not used within that period:

They will not be refunded.

Playtime Adventures LLC will retain the payment as a “use it or lose it” policy.

How to Cancel a Service

All cancellations must be sent via text to Playtime Adventures LLC at 603.457.0280 or submitted through Time To Pet.

Why Do We Have This Policy?

We do our best to be understanding and flexible, but cancellations impact our business. When you cancel on short notice:

We may not be able to rebook that time slot, resulting in lost income.

We have often turned away other clients to keep your spot available.

Employee turnover rate increases due to lost wages.

This policy is designed to be fair and compassionate while also ensuring Playtime Adventures LLC can continue to provide high-quality, reliable pet care.
