Playtime Adventures LLC Weather Policy

At Playtime Adventures LLC, your pet’s safety and well-being are our top priorities. While we are committed to keeping your pets happy and active, some weather conditions may require modifications to services for their protection and ours. Below is our policy for severe rainstorms, extreme heat, and snowstorms.

🌧 Rainstorms & Severe Thunderstorms

We are more than happy to come and take your dog out for a quick potty break, but for safety reasons, the remainder of the visit will take place indoors.

• If You Are Home: We kindly ask that we still be allowed to proceed with the adjusted visit indoors. However, you have two options if you are uncomfortable with this:

1. Reschedule the visit for the same week (if we have availability).

2. Apply the visit as a credit to your account (valid for one year).

• Shortened Visits: If you prefer a shorter visit due to the weather, we can accommodate your request; however, you will still be charged for the full booking time frame since that time was reserved for your pet.

🔥 Extreme Heat & Hot Weather

When temperatures soar, we adjust our services to ensure your pet stays safe and comfortable.

• If pavement temperatures pose a risk of burning paws, we will provide a potty break, but then will switch to indoor playtime or, if available, yard play on grass.

• We will provide fresh water and cooling breaks to keep your pup comfortable.

• If the heat index reaches a dangerous level, Playtime Adventures LLC reserves the right to shorten walks and transition to an indoor visit for your dog’s safety.

❄ Snowstorms & Hazardous Winter Weather

Winter conditions can be unpredictable, and safety is our top priority.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel due to snow or icy conditions, cancellations must be made by 8:00 AM on the day of service. Any cancellations due to hazardous weather will not go against the existing cancellation grace period and it will be credited to your account, valid for one year from the cancelled service date.

Playtime Adventures LLC’s Right to Cancel: Since weather can change throughout the day, Playtime Adventures LLC reserves the right to cancel services at any time if conditions become too dangerous for safe travel. Some factors we consider include:

• Road conditions and accessibility

• Ice and snow accumulation

• Severe wind chill or whiteout conditions

• Partial Service Modifications:

• If a full cancellation is necessary, your account will be credited in full.

• If we modify the visit (e.g., reducing an outdoor walk to 15 minutes), we will credit your account for the unused portion of the visit.

Flexibility & Service Adjustments

Since weather conditions can shift quickly, we may:

• Adjust appointment lengths as needed

• Modifying walk times, but optimize indoor engagement

• Communicate any changes as soon as possible to ensure you are informed.

Credits & Restrictions:

Any weather-related credits must be used within one year of the canceled service.

Credits cannot be applied to pre-existing bookings—they must be used for additional visits.

We will always do our best to provide care whenever possible while keeping your pet safe, happy, and comfortable. If weather conditions force changes, we will communicate with you and work to find the best solution.
